An image of an interesting modified T-55 in Syria

This upgraded T-55 boasts a North Korean laser range finder, a steel plate to provide some extra protection for the commander, a sheet of metal around the turret, presumably to pre-detonate RPGS, and shell cases welded to the glacis plate. However, it lacks any additional protection over the road wheels
